★ WILDLIFE ★ Ucluelet is a small seaside town surrounded by wilderness, please do not leave any food or garbage outside! There is also a majestic family of eagles located in the large tree above so please be mindful of small children and pets. ★ THE DRIVE TO UCLUELET ★ Portions of the drive to Ucluelet have limited reception and limited gas stations or stores. Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. Located near the end of the secluded Ucluelet peninsula on Terrace Beach. Nicknamed “Ukee” by the locals, a hidden gem just 30 minutes drive from the world famous year-round surfer’s paradise of Tofino, Ucluelet has grown into a popular travel destination on its own. The vibe: a quiet, laid-back pacific northwest surf town with towering old growth trees, abundant wildlife, and unmatched ocean views around every corner. Take time to check out the unique shops, restaurants, cafes, breweries and distilleries minutes away from your cabin. You can also rent bikes or surfboards/paddleboards/kayaks, hop on a whale watching tour, visit the aquarium, and venture out on several epic hiking trails. Nestled in the temperate pacific rainforest, the cabin looks out to the open ocean and connects directly to the famous Wild Pacific Trail right at your doorstep. You won’t find this anywhere else!

The entire suite is for you to privately enjoy a memorable vacation. The suite is located in a resort complex connected by boardwalks meandering through the rainforest. You will have your own entrance. Access to the suite is self-check-in with a keypad code.

The place is the ideal location to stay in Ucluelet! Bryan’s place is lovely, it has everything that you need. Bryan always responded really quickly and gave detailed recommendations and instructions.

Every year we visit Ucluelet, and this time stayed at one of the boardwalk suites at Terrace Beach Resort. It was extremely reasonably priced, and had everything we needed. It is on the small side, but this is reflected in the price. Was clean, had a comfortable mattress, and complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate packs. The host was quick to reply when I had a question. Very happy with our stay, and would come again. Pros: very affordable. Has a mini kitchenette. Dog friendly- and NO pet upcharges which was fantastic. Most places charge a per pet/per night fee. No carpet, so easy to keep floors clean despite tracking some sand in. BEAUTIFUL location, steps from Terrace Beach where you can watch an amazing sunset, and see starfish/sea life. Cons: No washer/dryer which is not a need but a nice perk if renting a bigger suite. We stayed in one of the lower suites, and could easily hear every little step of the upstairs suite. They weren't being particularly loud, but with a dog above us, it was quite loud. There were complimentary ear plugs in the bathroom for us. So if a light sleeper- choose an upper unit.
